Why Heat With Wood Pellets?

Pleasant to smell and Smooth to Touch
High quality Nature's Flame pellets are totally organic 100% natural with no plastics or additives. They are made from surplus pine wood waste otherwise destined for landfill.

No trees are destroyed specifically to make pellets. The waste sawdust and shavings are taken to a pellet mill where they are dried, compressed and formed into small pellets that are about the same size in diameter as the rubber at the end of a pencil. Premium wood pellets are a natural golden woody colour, clean, pleasant smelling and smooth to touch.

Cost Effective...Long Burn Time
One 20 kilogram bag of pellets will burn for up to 28 hours on low and heat an area of up to185 Square Metres.

Many homeowners purchase pellet fires as a cost effective and convenient secondary heat source. They may have a central heating system but generally find it too costly to run by itself, especially if it is just the main living area that you want heated.

Energy Efficient and Warm
The burning process is tightly controlled and produces little residue. With an energy efficiency of up to 94.5%, Pellet Fires are up to 50% more efficient than log burners and 350% more efficient than open fires. Heat output can be effectively controlled between 25% and 100% without compromising efficiency or smoke emission

Virtually no emission means cleaner air for all of us!
Pellet Fires have the lowest emission rate of any wood burner available in Australasia. In fact, they are virtually smokeless! Pellet fires generate heat that is both efficient and co-operative with our effort in restoring environmental quality. The smokeless emissions result in less than 1 gram per kilogram of fuel burnt.

Renewable Fuels-Alternative Energy
Nature's Flame pellets not only reduce dependence on finite supplies of  fossil fuels like oil, gas and coal, they are carbon neutral. That means when you use pellet heat, you are not contributing to green house gas emissions.

Wastage and Maintenance
The Pellet Fires require little maintenance. Ash build-up is less than 1%  of the total weight of the fuel burnt. For best results your pellet fire should be cleaned weekly and serviced annually.
